Self Description: I am not going to tell you I am kind and loyal and love to laugh. Everyone says that. It stopped meaning anything somewhere around 2015. Let me tell you what I actually bring. I notice things. Not in a suspicious way, in a paying attention way. I will remember what you ordered the first time we had dinner, what you said about your father that one Tuesday, which topic makes you talk faster without realizing it. I am genuinely curious about people and I do not fake that. You will feel it immediately or you will not, but there is no in between with me. I am someone who shows up. Not dramatically, not with speeches. I show up on the boring days, the tired days, the days when nothing is particularly wrong but nothing is particularly right either. I think that is actually the whole thing. Anyone can be good company when everything is going well. I have built a life that is mine, stable and full and interesting enough that I am not here looking for someone to complete it.! I am here because I want to share it. There is a difference and it matters. I will always look good next to you. I say that without vanity. It is simply something I care about and I am consistent about it.

Comments: I want a man who has figured out who he is. Not perfectly. Not without complications. But someone who has lived enough to stop performing and start just being. A man who is at ease with himself is the most attractive thing I know and it has nothing to do with age or money or any of the things people usually listI want someone who is present. Who puts his phone down when I am talking. Who asks a follow up question because he actually listened to the first answer. Who finds me interesting not because I am trying to be interesting but because he is the kind of man who pays attention. I want intelligence I can feel in a conversation. Manners that come from how he sees people, not from how he wants to be seen. And somewhere underneath all of it, warmth. The kind that is not performed for an audience but is just there, quietly, on an ordinary evening. I am not looking for perfect. I am looking for real and present and mine.
